01About these terms
These terms govern the use of the GB Electricals — Electrical Engineering Ltd website and, in general terms, the basis on which we provide electrical services. Specific work is covered by the written quote and any contract agreed for that job.
02Quotes and pricing
Prices shown on this website are guide prices only. Every job is quoted exactly in writing before work begins, and that written quote is the price that applies. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
03Booking and attendance
We confirm appointments by phone, email or message. If you need to rearrange, please give us at least 24 hours' notice where possible. We always aim to attend on time and will let you know promptly if anything changes.
04Certification
Where work requires certification (for example EICRs, electrical installation certificates or fire alarm certificates), this is issued on completion and stored in your customer portal. Certificates remain our record copies and yours to use for their intended purpose.
05Payment
Payment terms are stated on your quote or invoice. For most domestic work, payment is due on completion. We may request a deposit for larger projects or where materials are ordered specifically for your job.
06Complaints
If anything isn't right, tell us first and we will put it right. If we can't resolve a dispute between us, our TrustMark and NICEIC registrations give you access to independent dispute resolution.
